SAA Partner Program: Three Tiers for eXp Agents
Key Takeaway: The SAA Partner Program is a Smart Agent Alliance system that gives eXp agents attraction tools across three tiers: Starter, Leader, and Titan. Each tier adds portal access, branding, and analytics. Attracted agents name a Smart Agent Alliance-aligned agent as sponsor or co-sponsor on the eXp application.
TL;DR About the SAA Partner Program
- Three tiers: Starter, Leader, and Titan
- Starter adds no extra cost
- Leader unlocks a team dashboard
- Titan adds your own branding
- Each tier includes an attraction page
- Attracted agents name a SAA sponsor
The SAA Partner Program is a Smart Agent Alliance system that gives eXp Realty agents tools to support their revenue share building. It offers three tiers of access.
Many agents assume joining the program changes their eXp brokerage terms. It does not. The program sits at the sponsor layer and adds tools only.
This article explains how the SAA Partner Program fits into the practical tools inside the Smart Agent Alliance value stack built to help eXp agents organize their business, attract opportunities, and get more from their sponsorship relationship.
The sections below explain the program structure, the three tiers, the cost requirement, and how access is kept or lost:

What the SAA Partner Program Is
The SAA Partner Program is an optional sponsor-layer system that gives eXp Realty agents the tools to attract other agents. It is open to any eXp agent, including those outside a Smart Agent Alliance revenue share line. It provides attraction pages, agent portals, and tracking tools. The program does not change the eXp brokerage platform, fees, or compensation. Those terms stay the same for every eXp agent.
The SAA partner program adds a separate set of tools on top of the brokerage, and it forms one part of the wider SAA value stack. Access is organized into three tiers and each higher tier adds more control and branding. The program supports revenue share building by giving agents the systems to attract and track agents over time.
The Cost Requirement
SAA’s Partner Program Starter tier is free to join.
The only fixed requirement applies to the agents you attract: each one must name a Smart Agent Alliance-aligned agent as their primary sponsor or they must name Doug Smart as their co-sponsor. The primary sponsor choice is made on the eXp join application and the co-sponsor choice must occur within 5 days after a new eXp agent is active at eXp.
Beyond the Starter tier, SAA’s Partner Program offers two higher tiers, Leader and Titan, which unlock more tools and customizations. Both tiers are also free once the required number of agents have been recruited into the SAA downline, and both can also be reached right away through a monthly fee.
The Three Program Tiers
The program has three tiers: Starter, Leader, and Titan. Each tier is reached by attracting a set number of agents or by paying a monthly fee. Each higher tier includes everything in the tier below it and adds more tools. The table below shows how each tier is reached.
| Tier | How to Reach It | Permanence |
| Starter | Sign up with SAA, no added cost | Inactivity disables the account |
| Leader | 10 partnered agents or $10 per month | Kept once earned, no decay |
| Titan | 30 partnered agents or $99 per month | Kept once earned, no decay |
What the Starter Tier Includes
The Starter tier is the entry level, carries no added cost, and is automatically available to all SAA downline agents. An agent outside the SAA downline joins by signing up with Smart Agent Alliance.
This tier gives an agent a personalized attraction page at a team.smartagentalliance.com address, with the SAA pitch video, default copy, the agent’s photo, and a “Meet The Team” card showing their headshot, name, title, bio headline, and up to three bullets.
Full lead tracking records every visitor the page captures against the recruiting agent. A done-for-you nurture campaign runs four automatic drip sequences, sends every email under the recruiting agent’s name, and routes replies to that agent’s inbox.
Starter also includes access to SAA’s Agent Portal including a branded link page with custom links and accent color, plus the core agent portal: dashboard and analytics, profile editor, onboarding, team calls, templates, support, courses, agent resources and eXp resources.
What the Leader Tier Adds
The Leader tier is reached by attracting 10 partnered agents or by paying $10 per month. It includes everything in the Starter tier. Leader adds Builder portal, accessed with a toggle in their SAA agent portal, provides a Team Dashboard showing team total downline, active count, recent signups, and a breakdown by relationship, while Team Analytics flags who has gone quiet, bookings land on a shared team calendar, and the agent appears on the public leaderboard.
At this tier an agent can add their own courses, calls, resources, and onboarding steps to their downline’s portal, and their value stack populates automatically on their attraction page. Leader also unlocks attraction-page customization, including reordered sections and a leader bio and photo that cascade onto every downline agent’s page.
What the Titan Tier Adds
The Titan tier is reached by attracting 30 partnered agents or by paying $99 per month, and it includes everything in the Leader tier.
Titan lets an agent apply their own branding to their agent portal instead of the Smart Agent Alliance brand, including a custom accent color, team logo, portal background, title font, and frame texture, all of which cascades to every downline agent portal.
The Titan agent can set a custom team name on the attraction page, replace SAA’s Watch and Decide pitch video with their own, and link their own booking calendar for availability and meeting types.
Downline attraction pages become co-branded with the agent’s logo and the SAA logo, and the apply-instructions email shifts to a co-branded lockup with an updated subject line.
How Tier Access Is Kept or Lost
Tier access follows two different rules. At the Starter tier, access depends on use. An account that sits inactive for 30 or more days is disabled. The agent then has a 30-day window to reinstate the account.
The Leader and Titan tiers work differently. Once an agent earns either tier, the access is kept and does not decay. This holds even if the agent’s downline later shrinks below the original agent count. The monthly fee path keeps a tier active for as long as the fee is paid. The attracted-agent path, once met, locks the tier in place.
Common Misunderstandings About the Tiers
Some agents believe a higher tier changes their revenue share percentages or eXp fees. It does not. The tiers control tools and branding only, and revenue share follows the standard eXp structure described in the eXp Realty versus Real Brokerage comparison.
Another common assumption is that reaching Leader or Titan through attracted agents can be lost later. Once either tier is earned that way, the access stays in place. The monthly fee path is simply a second way to reach the same tools without the agent count.
How Agents Use the Program Day to Day
Agents share their attraction page with prospects who are considering eXp. A hosted page presents eXp and SAA, so an agent does not run prospect calls themselves. The nurture campaign sends emails under the agent’s name, and any reply returns to that agent.
Prospects an agent attracts appear in their tracking. As an agent moves up tiers, the same page and portal gain branding and analytics. For a full explanation of the attraction system, see: Smart Agent Alliance Agent Attraction Engine.
What Agents Also Ask
Do you have to pay to join the SAA Partner Program?
The Starter tier carries no added cost and is reached by signing up with Smart Agent Alliance. The Leader and Titan tiers can be reached by attracting a set number of agents or by paying a monthly fee of $10 or $99.
What happens if I stop using my SAA account?
At the Starter tier, an account that sits inactive for 30 or more days is disabled. There is then a 30-day window to reinstate it. The Leader and Titan tiers do not decay once earned, even if a downline shrinks.
Can I put my own brand on the SAA agent portal?
Custom branding is a Titan tier feature. At Titan, agent portals carry the agent’s branding instead of the SAA brand, and the attraction page becomes co-branded with both the agent logo and the SAA logo.
Why This Matters
The SAA Partner Program controls which attraction tools and portal features an agent can use, which makes the sponsor an agent aligns with part of the brokerage decision. At eXp Realty, all agents receive the same core brokerage platform, including compliance, compensation, and access to company divisions. What differs is the sponsor ecosystem an agent aligns with.
The sponsor an agent selects shapes which tools, training, and attraction systems, if any, they have access to, including the tier of attraction page, portal branding, and team analytics available to them. Because sponsor selection happens during the eXp Join Us application and is generally permanent unless an agent leaves eXp for the required time period and later rejoins with a different sponsor, it is rarely revisited.
Agents weighing that choice should consider the Smart Agent Alliance team value a sponsor brings, including whether it provides any opportunity to earn revenue share through sponsored tools and support.
