Ready to earn more income easier and faster? eXp Realty is rolling out its shiny new eXp Revenue Share 2.0, and it’s a game changer!

Are you not familiar with eXp’s Revenue Share?Β  It’s a powerful program that funneled nearly $200 million in extra income right into the pockets of eXp agents last year alone. Β Yep, these agents earned their full commissions and then topped that with revenue share income too!Β  Nearly $200 million extra? Talk about a sweet substantial income boost!

And now, eXp Realty rolled out REV Share 2.0. It’s even easier and faster for agents to reap this extra pool of cash. eXp Realty is once again demonstrating how they are the most agent-centric brokerage on the planet, always looking for ways to improve agent lives.

This article will cover how you can boost your bottom line to new heights with REV Share 2.0.Β  Check out our RevShare calculator and see just how much money you can really make. Here’s your handy dandy outline of what’s to come:

Β 4 Big Enhancements!

eXp Realty has announced 4 big enhancements to their REV share program which will result in more agents earning more extra income easier and faster than ever. Β For those new to revenue share, we’ll cover the basics of the revenue share program at eXp first.Β  If you’re already well-versed with eXp’s revenue share program, skip to the end for the four new juicy enhancements.

What’s eXp Revenue Share?

A woman holding a fan of hundred-dollar bills in front of her face, representing the financial benefits of the exp revenue share program.

The eXp revenue share model – which we just call β€œREV share” – rewards agents for growing the company.Β  You know, this is something nearly all agents do wherever they work. Β Agents naturally share their positive experiences about the brokerage they chose with other agents.Β  And, then, those enlightened agents often decide to join that same brokerage.

Well, that same scenario occurs at eXp.Β  But, at eXp, agents who attract – aka β€œsponsor” – other agents to join eXp earn extra income when those sponsored agents go on to produce commissions at eXp.

Where Does the Money Come From?

Are you wondering where the money for revenue share income comes from? Well, as an eXp agent, it doesn’t come out of your pocket.

That’s right, eXp agents don’t pay anything extra to their sponsors. What’s even cooler? Some sponsors, like our team at the Wolf Pack, provide a ton of support and value to agents and never charge them a single dime.

So where does the money come from? The funds for eXp revenue share are drawn from eXp Realty’s company dollars so eXp covers the bill.

a blue and grey pie chart, REVenue Share 2.0

Here’s how it breaks down: eXp Realty collects a 20% commission split from all agents until they hit their β€œcap”, which is $16,000 paid to eXp. Once agents cap, they pocket 100% of their commissions for the remainder of their calendar year. That means company dollars don’t grow after agents cap.

So here’s the kicker. eXp redistributes 50% of their company dollars right back to agents through eXp revenue share. In other words, when you pay your 20% split to eXp, you’re effectively only paying eXp 10%. The other 10%? It’s cycled back to agents earning eXp revenue share. That’s the eXp wayβ€”agents supporting agents, creating a community of success!

eXp Revenue Share’s Exponential Magic

A sequence of increasing piles of small seeds with a wooden spoon, symbolizing the exponential growth potential of the exp revenue share program.

Ok, so it’s great to earn extra income plus production commissions. But, make no mistake, eXp revenue share income can be, well, huge! We’re talking big bucks. That is, some eXp agents are pulling in 6, 7, and 8 figures annually from this alone! That’s right! They’re making 6, 7, and 8 figures PLUS their production commission.

How do the rev share earnings get that big? Here’s the scoop: at eXp, you can earn from up to seven tiers of agents you’ve sponsored.a graph with blue and black lines exp revenue share showing what 2 agents can turn into with 7 tiers It’s like this epic cascading effect. When you sponsor someone directly, they join your Tier 1, and you earn a slice of their commission.

But it doesn’t stop there. If your Tier 1 agent brings someone else on board, that new agent lands in your Tier 2, and yup, you earn from their commissions too. This pattern ripples down seven levels!

Let’s play with numbers for a second – imagine you bring in just two producing agents, and they each bring in just two producing agents, who then also bring on 2 producing agents, and so on. By the time you hit Tier 7, the initial two agents you started with expand into a whopping 128 agents all funneling eXp revenue share income up to you. That’s not just income; that’s magical exponential growth!

The Brilliance of eXp Revenue Share

Sponsoring agents only earn eXp revenue share income from their tiers of agents when those agents earn a commission. Brilliant! Your sponsoring agent is incentivized to share their very best secrets for success with you! How refreshing in an industry where local agents typically hide their best tips.

But wait, there’s more! Agent support comes from more than just your direct sponsor connections. With eXp’s seven-tier structure, you’ve got a whole ladder – with 7 rungs of support. This means you’re part of a powerhouse line-up – running 7 sponsor tiers up, your β€œupline”, and 7 tiers down, your β€œdownline”.

And the best part? This culture of helping agents is so engrained in sponsorship lines that it has spread like wildfire across the entire company. So while you always seek assistance from your sponsor first, and then your upline next, you can reach out to anyone at eXp Realty.

Someone’s always there to lend a hand. It’s like being part of a big, ambitious family where everyone’s rooting for you. Plus, we all own company stock, so we all want the company to do great! Now, that’s revolutionizing the real estate business.

Decoding the Fine Print

Before we get into the awesome new enhancements eXp Realty has rolled out for its revenue share program, let’s decode some of the essentials you should know.

As you now know, at eXp, you can earn eXp revenue share from every commission generated by the agents you sponsor, extending down seven tiers. But here’s the catch – there’s a clever mechanism designed to motivate you to keep growing your team.

Introducing the eXpansion Share and eXponential Share:

  • eXpansion Share: This is income you earn from each agent’s commission across up to seven tiers. Simple and straightforward, it gives you a consistent income stream as you build your team.
  • eXponential Share: Ready for a boost in your earnings? Unlocking this requires you to have a certain number of Front Line Qualifying Agents (FLQAs). You get an FLQA by ensuring your recruits hit specific targets – like closing two deals or making $5,000 in Gross Commission Income (GCI) within six months.

Why should you care about FLQAs?

Well, while eXpansion Share income is earned for every producing agent in your downline, FLQAs open up tiers where you will earn the substantially higher eXponential share income. So FLQAs are your golden ticket to much higher eXp revenue share income significantly multiplying what you can earn!

REVenue Share 2.0 with FLQA Requirements - May 2024

This dual-share system not only fuels recruitment but also encourages you to support your team actively. (Sponsors don’t have to help their agents, but clearly the ones that do are going to have more successful agents. Sponsor teams like the Wolf Pack.)

Why? Because their success directly affects your earnings. It’s a fantastic way to ensure everyone in your downline is productive, motivated, and well-supported. But, not all teams offer support, so you definitely want to be in a line that does.

Bottom line, this FLQA requirement to open more tiers incentivizes eXp recruitment and it also incentivizes ongoing support to ensure the success of an agent’s downline. It’s a system designed to reward both the growth and the nurturing of a productive team. In other words, a win-win situation for eXp and agents alike.

Β The New eXp Revenue Share Enhancements

Enhancement #1 – Simplifying Success with FLQA Reductions

New FLQA RequirementsResponding to agent feedback on the barriers to unlocking potential earnings, eXp Realty made significant adjustments to the FLQA requirements. Originally, agents needed up to 40 FLQAs to unlock all 7 tiers of agent earnings.Β  Recently eXp reduced that 40 FLQAs requirement to 30 FLQAs. But, that’s not the newest change and the newest change makes things even better.

That is, as a sponsoring agent, you used to need 5 FLQA agents to unlock your Tier 2 which rewards you with both an eXpansion share income and the larger eXponential share income.Β  You needed 10 FLQAs to unlock Tier 3 and 15 FLQAs to unlock Tier 4. But now, with just 1 FLQA agent you unlock your Tier 2 and 3.Β And, when you gain 5 FLQA agents, that now opens up your Tier 4.

Ok, that is just a lot more money going into your pocket. These financial changes reflect eXp’s strong commitment to bettering agents’ lives.

Enhancement #2 – More Agents Earn More

Despite what you may have heard from uninformed bystanders, the pool of money available to pay agents eXp revenue share income hasn’t changed. eXp still earns the same 20% from non-capping agents and the company still pays out 50% of that to agents in the form of revenue share income.

However, what has changed is that by eliminating the FLQA requirements for Tiers 2 and 3, more agents will earn eXp revenue share income from the pool of money available.

Additionally, any unused portion of the eXp revenue share pool (and there always is unused portions for various reasons) will now get added back as an adjustment bonus to Levels 1-3 payouts on a monthly basis, ensuring that every agent in the eXp revenue share structure benefits maximally.

Enhancement #3 – New Tier 1 Incentives

Starting July 1, 2024, eXp is boosting earning potential with the Fast Start Attraction Bonus. Now, when you sponsor a new agent, you can earn a whopping 50% of the eXp revenue share pool from their first year, up to $4,000 for fully capped agents, or 5% of the Gross Commission Income (GCI) during their capping period. This new incentive is eXp’s way of thanking you for helping expand our vibrant community.

This new feature is designed to put you in immediate control of your finances. The cost?Β  Just a $1 introductory transaction fee. This feature is crafted to provide you with quick access to your hard-earned money whenever you need it.

Keeping Your Golden Years Golden with eXp

And whoa hoo! Even with the new tweaks to the eXp revenue share model, eXp Realty’s commitment to securing your future hasn’t changed a bit. As an eXp agent, you can still look forward to retirement without waving goodbye to your eXp revenue share income. Plus, you have the peace of mind knowing you can pass on this eXp revenue share income to your loved ones. It’s all about ensuring you and your family benefit long-term from your hard work today.
